2nd Annual Puerto Peñasco Sea Lion Swim
PUERTO PEÑASCO 2ND ANNUAL SEA LION SWIM — JANUARY 1, 2026 
Start your New Year with a splash!
Kick off 2026 the Rocky Point way—with sunshine, warm vibes, and a not-so-polar plunge into the Sea of Cortez! The Sea Lion Swim is our coastal twist on a New Year’s Day tradition: a group splash that’s all about fun, community, and shaking off the past year (without freezing your tail off).
Join us at Bottoms Up at 10:00 a.m. for Espresso Martinis, Bloody Marys, Baileys, and other warm-up drinks to get your nerves ready. Then we’ll walk together to El Mirador/Chiapas Beach Access for the big plunge at high tide: 12:30 p.m. (as you walk towards the beach through the av Chiapas access look to your left for us! See map for exact location.)
Bring the Warmth 
We’re collecting bedding, blankets, and towels for Compassion Without Borders – Clinica La Esperanza. Your donations help the animals stay warm, safe, and cared for.
Before and After the Plunge…
Enjoy Baileys, cocoa, coffee, and goodies at the Murray Casa to keep the chill away. Then head back to Bottoms Up for the after-party and drink specials, because anyone brave enough to jump in deserves a celebratory toast.
Come for the splash, stay for the community.
